The story of a girl in a small North Indian town who is an obsessive fan of top Hindi movie star Madhuri Dixit, and dreams of moving to Mumbai to become a film heroine herself.

Beena, a villager married to a man in the city, is shocked to find that her husband has left the house. She begins to provide for the family, but faces issues when she falls in love with a co-worker.

A newspaper reporter exploits an ordinary man for few rupees to pose as a man who is fighting against the corrupt politicians and prints imaginary stories in his name to improve the circulation of her newspaper. People take him for real and he becomes a powerful leader of poor man. One day the paper prints a letter in his name that he is going to end his life fighting corruption. This puts the ordinary man in a fix. He knows that at this juncture he can't refute the accuracy of all those stories. He also realizes that he is the sole hope of millions. Finally, he buckles under moral pressure and jumps from an incomplete multi-storied building and ends his life.

After Aparajita is deserted by her husband, leaving her alone to fend for herself and her daughters, she rises to meet every challenge so that she and her girls can walk with their heads held high.

Main Hoon Rajinikanth is a fictional story of a funny yet wicked C.B.I officer-cum-contract killer Rajinikanth Rao. He was on a mission to recover 50 million for Bachchan. The story takes a turn when Hariprasad dies without delivering the money.

Vayuputhran aka Muthuvel (Arjun) comes out of the prison with a promise to his jailmate Bala (Prem) that he would take care of his ailing brother Sathish, who is about to undergo a surgery. After visiting Sathish in the hospital, Muthu goes to Vallakottai (from where he gets an assignment) to earn money. His job is to surrender for the murder of Eswarapandian (Suresh), the jameen of Vallakottai, which is to be committed by Eswarapandian's archrivals Nachiyar (Ashish Vidyarthi) and his brother Sethupathi (Vincent Asokan). At Vallakottai, Muthu meets Anjali (Haripriya) and Veera Sangili (Ganja Karuppu). As scenes unfold, he falls for Anjali and also comes to know that Eswarapandian is harmless and Nachiyar is the one who is to be punished. Even as acting as a servant of Nachiyar, Muthu wears different getups in the name of Vayuputhran and teaches a lesson or two to the baddies. In the meantime, Bala gets released from prison and what follows is a twist.
